Big Day of Birding

This annual event, hosted by NJ Conservation, Feminist Bird Club of Jersey City, Liberty State Park, and Jersey City Birds invites you to join us as we try to see and hear as many bird species as we can! 2026 is in the books, but we will be back in 2027 for our 5th annual Big Day!!

Liberty State Park is an urban gem that serves both people looking for outdoor relaxation and recreation, as well as an incredible diversity of wildlife. Our aim is to highlight the winged wonders that call this place home - even if it is for a brief time during migration. You can view eBird reports from all of our Big Days at the links below:
