Cadwalader Park Bird Walk

Join birding expert Jordan Parham and others on our 3rd annual bird walk in Trenton's crown jewel - Cadwalader Park! We will learn to identify birds by both sight and sound, and expect to see beautiful spring migrants and residents.

Owl Calling & Woodcock Walk

Owls and woodcocks and Emile, oh my! Early spring is a great time to listen and call for breeding owls, as courtship and nesting has already begun! Walking along woodland edges, we will call for Screech Owls to fly in and perch aloft. We may hear Great Horned Owls singing their courtship duets, and if the weather is mild, perhaps even see courtship flights of the American Woodcock! Dr. Emile DeVito, New Jersey Conservation Foundation staff biologist, will lead this moonlight walk through Bamboo Brook Outdoor Education Center in Morris County.
