History
New Jersey Conservation Foundation was founded in 1960 by a small group of citizens who organized to fight a plan by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to build the region’s fourth major airport in the middle of the Great Swamp near Morristown. More>

What We Do

New Jersey Conservation Foundation protects threatened natural areas and farmland through land acquisition and stewardship, promotes strong New Jersey land use policies and forges partnerships to help safeguard water and other natural resources. More >
