PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
TAKE NOTICE that the New Jersey Conservation Foundation has filed a request with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection proposing to transfer ownership of parkland from the New Jersey Conservation Foundation to the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. The parkland to be transferred is known as Rancocas Cranberry Company 2; Block 1702, Lot 30; Block 3601, Lot 1; Ongs Hat Road, Southampton NJ, consists of 185.48 acres and is subject to Green Acres restrictions. The Green Acres restrictions on the parkland will be transferred with the parkland and will run with the property in perpetuity. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.5(a) 3, a hearing to obtain public comment on this request will be held at the Pinelands Preservation Alliance - 17 Pemberton Road, Southampton NJ on December 18, 2024 at 6:00 PM.  Written comments may be submitted until January 1, 2025 to NJ Conservation Foundation, 170 Longview Road, Far Hills, NJ  07931 with copies of written comments to New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program Bureau of Legal Services and Stewardship, PO Box 412, Trenton, NJ  086250412.  Additional information about this proposal may be obtained at: www.njconservation.org or by calling 908-234-1225.
