Owl calling at night at Bamboo Brook, Friday March 9 at 6 pm - 8 pm: Late winter is a great time to listen and call for our breeding owls, as courtship and nesting has already begun! We will amble along our woodland edges, calling for Screech Owls to fly in and perch above our heads. We might hear Great Horned Owls singing their courtship duets, and if the weather is mild, perhaps even see courtship flights of the American Woodcock!
