Kraig Adams, Associate Land Steward

Kraig was born and raised on a dairy farm in the Pine Barrens. Kraig worked on the DeMarco cranberry farm for 15 years until it was sold to NJCF in 2004. His duties there included everything that had anything to do with farming, including equipment operation and repair, fabrication of machinery, building construction and maintenance, cranberry bog construction and irrigation layouts. Most importantly, Kraig was responsible for controlling and maintaining the water levels in the reservoirs year round and in the bog areas during harvest time. Another very big part of Kraig’s job was keeping the property secure. Kraig now works for the Burlington County Bridge Commission and works for NJCF part-time managing water levels and property security at Franklin Parker Preserve.
