Louis Cantafio, Ph.D., Senior Land Steward

2002. Louis is a land steward for NJCF. He is a resident and Head Caretaker at the William L. Hutcheson Memorial Forest in Franklin Township, Somerset County and has his own carpentry business. He has a BS in Biology from Ramapo College; a MS in Biology from Montclair State University, and a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolution from Rutgers University, where he studied the co-existence of mycophagous Drosophila and did his thesis in ‘Human Olfactory Communication of Alarm and Safety Signals.’ Louis lives in Somerset, New Jersey.
