Serves as a director of the James Black Foundation in London, a member of the National Council of the World Wildlife Fund, and Board of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Member of the Board of the US Trust Corp. and Amerada Hess Corp., as well as Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. Served as inaugural Chairman of the Healthcare Institute of New Jersey.
