Chairman of Voltaix, L.L.C., a semiconductor materials manufacturer based in Branchburg, New Jersey, which produces silicon precursors including GeH4 used in thin-film photovoltaic devices and SiGe chips such as IBM’s new 50 GHz technology. President of the Garden State Enviro News (non-profit), a member of the RAND Corporation Middle East Policy Advisory Board, and serves as a reservist in the US Navy. He has a B.A. from Tulane University and a Ph.D. from the University of London
