FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Help Preserve the Garden State When You Pick-up Your Groceries at Whole Foods Market Millburn on April 17
MILLBURN, NJ, April 3, 2007 – Whole Foods Market Millburn will celebrate Earth Month by donating 5 percent of all April 17 sales to the New Jersey Conservation Foundation (NJCF). Proceeds will benefit NJCF’s work on the Arthur Kill Greenway. Whole Foods Market Millburn is located at 187 Millburn Avenue.
Millburn customers that spend $25 or more on April 17 will take home a recyclable shopping bag, learn more about NJCF, receive free “green” samples and have a chance to win earth friendly raffle prizes. NJCF will have staff on hand to answer your conservation questions.
The preserved lands of NJCF’s Arthur Kill Greenway run along this narrow saltwater channel and its tributaries as they flow through Essex, Middlesex and Union counties, providing natural areas for wildlife habitat and public enjoyment. For more information, please call NJCF at 1-888-LAND-SAVE (1-888-526-3728).
Since 1960, NJCF has preserved over 100,000 acres of land from the New Jersey Highlands to the Delaware Bayshore, permanently protecting forests, farmland and natural resources, all vital to New Jersey’s future. For more information on volunteer opportunities or saving New Jersey’s precious natural areas and natural resources, contact the New Jersey Conservation Foundation at 1-888-LAND-SAVE (1-888-526-3728) or visit our website at www.njconservation.org.
